Drombane Johnjoe

JJ is a 16hh bright bay Cleveland Bay x gelding. He has a star and a snip, the kindest eyes, one white foot and a wonderful full mane and tail. He is shod in front only.

J is fed unlimited hay and two feeds of Alpha A and Saracen's Re-leve. Supplements are Blood Tonic, Cortaflex and Salt.

Treats that go down well are carrots, parsnips, apples, pears, mints, doughnuts, ice cream and mars bars.  He hates cake, swede, brussels, tickling under his front legs, grooming (sigh), tractors, and SJ fillers.

JJ is great for the farrier and vet, quite another story for dentist and clipping. We get away with a twitch for the dentist and mane pulling but a full clip requires Domoseden (safer for everyone!)

Naughty bits: He used to spin when scared but is getting over that so less said the better, bucking used to be easier than going forward off the leg but that's improved too. Fussy with hay and wont eat electrolytes.

Funny bits: He LOVES a ginger horse, throws his head when excited or frustrated and thinks he can hide at the back of the stable when the tack comes out - but i can still see him!!
