A weekend of rain didn’t dampen our spirits and this was the first camp JJ and I had ever done. Two years later we have got the bug!
We did some flat work on the first lesson then jumping in the afternoon, followed by pole work in the morning of day two and more SJ fences in the afternoon.
Day three we headed off to do some cross country training.
Being away from home doesn’t bother JJ and he behaved impeccably the whole time, I couldn’t have asked for more.
Looking back, it amazes me how far we have come. We may not be jumping 3’ fences or courses but the timid, nervous, worried JJ has come a long long way under Janine’s watchful eye.
